CM attends mass marriage programme

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took part in the mass marriage conference of Dhakad (Nagar) Samaj at Obaidullaganj on Tuesday and blessed the newly-weds. 23 couples got married in the mass marriage conference.

Chief Minister Chouhan also performed Shila Pujan of Dhakar Samaj’s hostel and Manglik Bhawan. Chief Minister Chouhan said that mass marriages are being organized by the Samaj for the last 37 years. During the Corona period, mass marriages were not organized for 2 years. Till date more than 1800 marriages have been conducted.

Even on Tuesday, 23 couples tied the knot. MP Ramakant Bhargava, MLA Surendra Patwa, Chief Minister Chouhan’s wife  Sadhana Singh, public representatives and officials of Dhakad Samaj were present.
