BJP aiming of 272 seats in next Loksabha elections

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday said it was aiming to get more than 272 Lok Sabha seats in the next general elections in 2014.
Addressing party workers at a meeting held here to plan the strategy for the elections due next year, BJP president Rajnath Singh said the party’s mission was getting 272 seats in the next elections.

Party’s poll panel head and Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi chaired the meeting. Senior leaders like Leader of Opposition in the Rajya Sabha Arun Jaitley and his counterpart in the Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj were also present.
