Gurunanak Devji’s 550th Prakash Parv

CM Kamal Nath offers prayers at Hamidia Road Gurudwara

Chief Minister Kamal Nath today reached the Nanaksar Gurudwara on Hamidia Road on the occasion of the 550th Prakash Parv of Gurunanak Dev Ji. Kamal Nath prayed before the holy Guru Granth Sahib and prayed for the prosperity and communal harmony of the country and the state.
The Chief Minister was honoured with a shawl by the Mukhya Granthi of Hamidia Road Gurudwara Gyani Gurudev Singh. Sardar Paramvir Singh Wazir, Chairman of the Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee presented a memento to the Chief Minister.
Expressing happiness over the historic decisions taken by CM Nath to commemorate the 550th Prakash Parv of Gurunanak Dev ji, Secretary of Gurudwara Committee Amreek Singh said that this is the first time in the history of Madhya Pradesh, when on the manifestation of Guru Nanak Dev ji, all the government buildings of the state are being illuminated.
Happiness was also expressed over the Chief Minister’s decision of a museum and research institute being established in Jabalpur at a cost of Rs 20 crore in the memory of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. On this occasion, the Chief Minister was also thanked for the decisions and actions being taken continuously for the Sikh community.
Public Relations Minister P.C. Sharma and Media Coordinator Narendra Saluja were also honoured with a shawl and mementos on behalf of Hamidia Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee. Members of the Sikh community in a large number and other communities were present on the occasion.
