Samsung keen to collaborate with MP Government

Bhopal. Samsung is keen on large scale collaboration with Madhya Pradesh government. The company wishes to expand its activities in India. Marketing possibilities for Samsung in India are highly important. Samsung’s Vice Chairman Shri Sean Huyn apprised Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan regarding this on Monday. Shri Chouhan visited Samsung Digital City and went round Samsung Innovation Museum at Suwan near Seoul in South Korea.

The Chief Minister inspected expansion plans of Samsung. He elicited detailed information about institution’s functioning. He evinced keen interest in Samasung’s expansion plans in India. He suggested Samsung’s management to set up company’s research and development centre in Madhya Pradesh. He said that this centre will become stepping stone for Samsung’s expansion activities in India in future.

Vice Chairman Shri Huyn welcomed the Chief Minister on arrival at Samsung Smart City. He gave detailed information to Shri Chouhan about Samsung’s business in India. He also evinced interest in large scale collaboration of the company with Madhya Pradesh government. Samsung reiterated that India including Madhya Pradesh is one the most important markets for it and the company is keen to increase its business there.

The Chief Minister was accompanied by his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh, Commerce and Industries Minister Smt. Yashodhara Raje Scindia and other members of Indian delegation. After holding a road show on investment possibilities in Madhya Pradesh with business groups at Seoul on October 6, the Chief Minister will return to India on October 7.
