Contribute your best for our own Madhya Pradesh: CM

Bhopal: On the occasion of Madhya Pradesh Foundation day here today, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan announced to give seven percent dearness allowance to the state’s employees. He exhorted state’s people to contribute their best for building Madhya Pradesh for golden future of next generation.
Shri Chouhan was addressing a function held to mark the occasion at Vallabh Park here today. At the programme, Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan administered a pledge to officers and employees for commitment to Madhya Pradesh’s all-round development.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the dearness allowance announced today will also be given to pensioners, teachers and panchayat workers. Service rules will also be formulated soon for daily wagers. He said that every citizen of the state must harbour a feeling in heart that it is his state and he will carry out his duties in effective way. Together, we all are Team Madhya Pradesh, who will make Madhya Pradesh pioneering state of the country.
The Chief Minister said that we take pride in the fact that whoever comes to Madhya Pradesh is welcomed here with love and affinity. As a result, the newcomer settles here. Madhya Pradesh has achieved over 10 percent growth rate during the 11th Five-Year Plan and 12 percent in the first year of the 12th Five-Year Plan. Credit of this goes to officers and employees also. Investment is being made in the state at a rapid pace. MoUs worth Rs. 4 lakh 31 thousand were signed at Global Investors Summit recently, which will generate 27 lakh job opportunities. Country’s industrialists have expressed wish in unison to invest in the state.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that we are working for development and progress of next generation. One must do his best wherever he is. All-round development of villages should be ensured and villagers’ living standard should also improve. It is hoped that officers and employees will continue working to achieve this goal. Work culture of Madhya Pradesh is better as compared to other states. He said that people call me a ‘merchant of dream’. I admit it and even dream for the state’s all-round development even during performing worship. I dream of roads in every village of Madhya Pradesh, 24-hour power supply, job to every youth, houses for all the state’s people and houses replacing slums. I am committed to work 18 hours daily to realise these dreams. I have passion, obsession and longing for the state’s development. I expect the same from the employees also. Shri Chouhan’s call also enthused the employees present on the occasion. This was evident by the slogans being raised by them during the Chief Minister’s address expressing solidarity with him.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan administered pledge to officers and employees to be committed to the state’s development. He extended Foundation Day greetings to officers and employees by shaking hands with them. At the function, Smt. Suhasini Joshi and her team sang Vande Matram and Madhya Pradesh Gaan. MLA Shri Vishwas Sarang, Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasurm, Additional Chief Secretaries Shri I.S. Dani, Shri Anthony D’sa, Shri P.K. Dash and Smt. Aruna Sharma, Chairman of Board of Secondary Education Shri M.K. Rai, office-bearers of employees’ unions, officers and employees were present on the occasion.
