Army arrests 2 Pak nationals associated with Laskhar-e-Taiba, plays confession videos

New Delhi: The Indian Army has arrested two Pakistani nationals associated with Laskhar-e-Taiba who were trying to infiltrate into India through Jammu and Kashmir. Army officers addressed the media along with J&K Police on Wednesday morning and played confession videos of the two men.
The Army has said Pakistan is trying to disturb peace in the Valley.
Chinar corps commander, Lieutenant General KJS Dhillon and J&K Police chief Munir Khan made the revelations at a joint media address on Wednesday in Srinagar.
Khalil Ahmad and Mozam Khokar, both Pakistani nationals, were arrested near the LoC in Boniyar sector of Baramulla district on the intervening night of August 22 and 23, said the Army.
Addressing the media, Lt General KJS Dhillon said, “Pakistan is desperate to infiltrate maximum terrorists into the Kashmir Valley to disrupt peace in the Valley. On August 21, we apprehended two Pakistani nationals who are associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba.”
The Army said the two men were trying to carry out a recce to help a large group of Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists to infiltrate the Valley.
“During questioning the two LeT guides revealed that their handlers across the LoC are planning to push in groups of terrorists to disrupt peace and launch attacks in Kashmir,” said the Army.
A large number of terrorists are waiting to infiltrate. Pakistan is trying every night to push in these men into our side, said Lt Gen DS Dhillon.
Intelligence agencies have received inputs that over 50 Pakistani Army personnel are engaged in providing training to terrorists.
After the training, these terrorists are planning to infiltrate Jammu and Kashmir via Reshian Gali and Kadlan Gali.
An additional 80-90 SSG commandos are undergoing training in Muzaffarbad. These commandos are also planning BAT action near Hazipur Nala against Indian security forces.
In order to facilitate the infiltration, Pakistan Army is also making concrete bunkers in Jura Valley and Jabbar Valley to protect themselves from Indian Army operations.
