Our body needs time to get adapted to the weather change. Therefore, maintaining health is highly important to enjoy any season and here are some tried and tested home remedies to keep your infections at bay

Climatic change brings a lot of changes in our overall health. Weather change impacts our health in the worst manner and often make us fall ill.In order to avoid getting sick during the change of weather along with the on going COVID – 19 pandemic times, it becomes more important to take good care of yourself and your fellow mates to fight with cough, cold, viral infections and fatigue.
Change of weather is a constant process. A slight change in weather leads to various troubles in people with low immune system. Our body needs time to get adapted to the weather change. Therefore, maintaining health is highly important to enjoy any season and here are some tried and tested home remedies to keep your infections at bay.

1. Cold & Cough:
Cold & cough is the most common disease of any climatic change, deal it with simple home remedies:-
*Amla
Being a strong immune modulator, amla fights against many diseases. Eating one amla regularly provides many health benefits.
*Ginger-tulsi mixture.
Extract the ginger juice and add crush tulsi leaves to it and add honey. Consume it to get relief from a cough.
*Mixture of lemon, cinnamon and honey.
Another effective home remedy for common cold and cough is a mixture of lemon, cinnamon and honey. This syrup effectively cures cold and cough.
*Milk and turmeric
Turmeric mixed in warm milk is a popular and effective way to fight against cold and cough. Drink a glass of warm turmeric milk before sleeping helps in faster recovery from cold and cough.

2. During climatic change mosquito-borne diseases increases. The fever caused by dengue can be dangerous for your health. However, there are many ways and means to fight the dengue virus. First and foremost, it’s vital to boost the patient’s immunity. This can be done by giving him/her food items that are loaded with essential nutrients and vitamins that ensure a speedy recovery.
*Papaya Leaves :
Its leaves are well-known to increase the platelet count and are also enriched with anti-malarial properties, making it the best home remedy to fight against dengue fever and other illnesses
Take some papaya leaves and crush them. Once you get the juice from the extract, drink 2 tablespoons of this bitter juice 2 times a day.
*Tulsi Leaves :
Tulsi or the holy basil is almost a wonder herb if you want to increase your immunity. Boil tulsi leaves with some black pepper and have it daily.
*Neem Leaves:
Boil water and let neem leaves seep in it for some time. Drinking this water increases the blood platelet and white blood cell count.
*Citrus fruits
They are very beneficial when suffering from any infections as they contain Vitamin C which helps in fighting against the infections.

3. Dehydration:
*Have ORS that’s home-made:
Due to excessive loss of fluids from body, quick restoration of body fluid, all you need to do is mix half spoon of salt and six spoons of sugar in 1 litre of water.
* Fluids
Lemon water, buttermilk , coconut water or fresh citrus juices with adding dash of salt and pepper.

Apart from all this, make sure you eat fresh home made food, add lots of colors to your platter, stay hydrated and engage in some stress reducing practices such as yoga, pranayam, listening to music, meditation or exercises to keep your body positively charged up.
