Female cheetah Jwala gives birth to 3 cubs: Great news from Kuno for the second time in 20 days

Another good news has been received from Kuno National Park in Sheopur district. Female cheetah Jwala has given birth to 3 cubs on Monday. Union Forest Minister Bhupendra Singh has given this information by posting it on his X handle at around 8 am today. Earlier, Jwala had given birth to 4 cubs on 27 March 2023. Meanwhile, on January 3, female cheetah Asha gave birth to three cubs.

Kuno National Park DFO R Thikural said that eight leopards were brought from Namibia on September 17. Female cheetah Jwala had earlier given birth to 4 cubs, 3 of them have died. One cub is completely healthy. Thikural said that the three cubs born on Monday are completely healthy. The Forest Department staff is keeping a watch on them.

Minister Bhupendra Yadav wrote on social media that this good news has come just a few weeks after Namibian cheetah Asha gave birth to her cubs. Congratulations to the wildlife frontline warriors and wildlife lovers across the country. This is how wildlife flourished in India.

Pawan is also the father of the three cubs of the female cheetah Asha. Pawan is the same leopard who has repeatedly come out of Kuno in the last months and went to Vijayayur, Pohri and then Madhav National Park in Shivpuri district. From there it was tranquilized 2 to 3 times and brought back to Kuno.
