Cabinet reshuffle soon, Rahul Gandhi to join government

New Delhi: In a view to fresh corruption charges against few UPA ministers, a major reshuffle in the Union Cabinet is being predicted. It is believed that Rahul Gandhi and party spokesperson Manish Tewari would be inducted in the council of ministers.

Many of the Partymen have been vehemently demanding for a ‘bigger role’ to general secretary Rahul Gandhi within the party and the government. The sources say that party leadership has finally decided to remove tainted ministers from the council of ministers and this is the reason for contemplation over new names for the next cabinet reshuffle.

It is said that the next reshuffle could take place by September end. The sources also say that portfolios of some of the ministers could also be changed. The new faces upon which the speculations are going on are- Meenakshi Natarajan, Jyoti Mirdha and Manika Tagore (Core group members of Rahul Gandhi). It is also believed that chief spokesperson of the Congress, Janardan Dwivedi and his peer Renuka Chaudhary could also be inducted in the Union Cabinet in the next reshuffle.
