Ahead of anniversary, Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan make the most of Maldives’ serenity with Aaradhya

A day after Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan were photographed at the airport along with their baby girl, Aaradhya Bachchan, the family has now begun their celebrations in the Maldives.

The couple, who is set to ring in their 12th wedding anniversary on Saturday, has kickstarted the celebrations and how. Just a few moments back, Aishwarya took to social media and shared an exquisite photograph of the breathtaking beauty they are enjoying in the Maldives.

There’s nothing in the photograph apart from Maldives’ serene natural beauty and a landscape that is sure to make you crave a vacation.

Besides this, a selfie that is doing the rounds of the internet now, sees the couple making the most of their time in the Maldives. The Bachchan trio – Aaradhya, Aishwarya and Abhishek were all smiles as they posed with their fans by the swimming pool.

The power couple tied the knot back in 2007. While their wedding was held at Prateeksha, the Bachchan residence in Mumbai, it was attended by the who’s who of the filmdom. The couple, who is regarded one of Bollywood’s most favourite real-life couples has also worked together in several films including Dhaai Akshar Prem Ke, Kuch Na Kaho, Dhoom 2, Umrao Jaan and Guru among others.

On the film front, while Aishwarya was last seen in Fanney Khan alongside Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek starred in Anurag Kashyap’s Manmarziyaan, co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles. Aishwarya has now come on board for a film with Mani Ratnam. The period drama will reunite Aishwarya and her Raavan co-actor Vikram.

While Abhishek hasn’t yet announced his next film, media reports suggest that the actor will star in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ambitious project, based on the life and times of poet and lyricist Sahir Ludhainvi. No official confirmation has been made yet.
