NITI Aayog praised CM Rise School Scheme

Regarding Madhya Pradesh State (Best Practices), a meeting was held under the chairmanship of Vice Chairman NITI Aayog, Government of India Suman Berry. In this Berry discussed with the heads of various departments of the state and got information regarding departmental achievements and expectations. Chief Secretary Iqbal Singh Bains, mentioning the departmental works being done in the state, threw light on the policies and plans of the state government. 

Deputy Chairman NITI Aayog Berry appreciated the multi-faceted CM Rise School Scheme of the State Government and learned about the work being done by the School Education Department to improve the attendance of teachers and students. Mr. Berry appreciated the Urban Administration Department for consistently being on top in cleanliness of Indore and inquired about the main factors of this success.

Berry inquired about the possibilities of employment opportunities in Madhya Pradesh from tourism and discussed the contribution to GDP. The Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development Department informed about the agricultural produce export promotion, e -Girdawari and form gate app helpful in selling the produce of the farmers, and the health department informed about the work being done for the control of anemia along with maternal and child health. Gave it to Niti Aayog.

Vice President, MP State Policy and Planning Commission Prof. Sachin Chaturvedi put forward the proposal for strengthening the institutional framework in Madhya Pradesh and comprehensive improvement in statistics in front of Niti Aayog, Government of India. 

Additional Chief Secretary/Principal Secretary and Head of Department of Tourism, Public Health and Family Welfare, School Education, Farmers Welfare and Agriculture Development and Urban Development and Housing Department of Madhya Pradesh Government were present. The work of coordination with all the departments was done by the Principal Secretary Planning, Economic and Statistics Department.
