Digvijay files plaint to DGP over calls from unknown numbers

Rajya Sabha MP Digvijay Singh has complained to Director General of Police (DGP) of Madhya Pradesh over some unknown numbers calling him persistently.

Sharing screenshots of his cell phone call log, Singh posted a message on twitter on Friday that these unknown callers were harassing him for last several days. He had complained to the DGP and also urged the telecom service providers to bar these numbers but nothing happened.

With no solution in sight, Singh has switched off his cell phone and posted some landline numbers. Meanwhile, the numbers uploaded by Singh on social media include those from other cities of India and some overseas numbers as well including those from Russia.

The cyber cell of Madhya Pradesh has taken up the complaint from the senior Congress leader and has started an investigation into the matter.

However, the twitter users started posting all kinds of replies as soon as the senior leader shared his problem on twitter.

Several of them started poking fun at the Congress veteran whom was at the helm of affairs recently as the Kamal Nath government was brought down by party rebels in Madhya Pradesh.
