IPL Points Table 2019, Standings, ranking, orange cap, purple cap after KKR vs RCB match

In the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Friday defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 10 runs at the Eden Gardens in what was a high-scoring affair. Batting first RCB posted a mammoth score of 213/4 in 20 overs as Virat Kohli smashed a brilliant 100 runs off 58 balls whereas Moeen Ali played a blistering knock off 28 balls. KKR fell short of 10 runs although Nitish Rana and Andre Russell gave them a glimmer of hope with their powerful batting in the death overs.

Chennai Super Kings remain atop the points table. Royal Challengers Bangalore bagged their second win of the season, however, they remain last in the points table separated from Rajasthan Royals due to net run-rate. A worrying sign for Kolkata Knight Riders as they have now lost four matches on the trot.

David Warner continues to rule the run-getting charts with 400 runs to his name. KL Rahul continues to take the second spot whereas Virat Kohli, after his sensational ton against KKR, moved to third in the list. Andre Russell produced another blitzkrieg against KKR as he smashed 65 runs off 25 balls.

Kagiso Rabada is the proud holder of the Purple Cap with 19 scalps under his belt. Imran Tahir continues to take up the second spot, whereas Yuzvendra Chahal, who was taken to cleaners by Nitish Rana and Andre Russell in the match between RCB and KKR, stays at the third spot.
