Work to prepare Aadhar Cards to be accelerated

Bhopal: High-level review of the work to prepare Aadhar Cards in Madhya Pradesh was undertaken here today. Union Joint Secretary Shri Sandeep Verma was also present at the meeting at Mantralaya.

Deputy Secretary Home and Registrar UID Shri Madan Kumar informed that significant discussions were held on preparation of people’s Aadhar Cards. For this, it was decided to start a facilitation centre at Bhopal. Difficulties being experienced in preparing Aadhar Cards and necessity to resolve them were specially discussed at the meeting. Now, discussions will be held with officers of Department of Post for solving problems in distribution of Aadhar Cards.

The meeting also discussed launch of advance search facility. ECMP facility to prevent duplication in preparation of Aadhar Cards was also discussed. Cases of multiple enrollment are coming to the notice these days. For this, enrollment agencies have been asked to use necessary online system. Work has also not been completed due to a number of applicants not mentioning their mobile numbers or missing receipt. Applicants have been urged to seek necessary guidance from nodal officer in collector office of concerning districts. The meeting also discussed increase in number of machines and complete work at the earliest. Government of India’s officer Shri Sushil Sharama and concerning officers of state’s Home Department attended the meeting.
