Union Minister Gen. V.K. Singh inaugurates Secretariat of 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan
Bhopal: Secretariat of 10th Vishwa Hindi Sammelan to be held at Bhopal from September 10 to 12 was inaugurated at Makhanlal National University of Journalism and Communications here today. MoS for Defence Gen. V.K. Singh, Rajya Sabha MP Shri Anil Madhav Dave, Minister of State for Culture Shri Surendra Patwa and university’s vice chancellor Prof. Brij Kishore Kuthiayala inaugurated the Sammelan. All works pertaining to Vishwa Hindi Sammelan will be done from here. A meeting of managing committee of the Sammelan was also held.
At the meeting, MP Shri Dave held subject-wise discussions on committees constituted for various subjects. Members of committees on organisation, security, cultural programmes, lodging & transportation, felicitation, website, content and sessions informed about action taken till date and future plans. Shri Dave informed that August 21, 2015 is the last date for registration for Sammelan. Registrations are being done online. He said that a song is being composed for Sammelan. Two professors and 5 students each of various universities in the country will be invited to Sammelan. Union Joint Secretary Foreign Affairs Shri Mridul Kumar informed about Sammelan’s preparations.
It was informed that a newsletter will be published daily. It would be responsibility of Makhanlal National University of Journalism and Communications. Cultural programmes will be held in the evening daily during Sammelan. Cultural programmes on September 10 will be held by Ministry of Foreign Affairs and 11 September by Madhya Pradesh Department of Culture. Kavi Sammelan will be held on September 12.
The meeting discussed increasing aviation facilities at Bhopal during Sammelan, mainly Delhi-Mumbai air service. Union MoS Shri Singh laid emphasis on preparing check list and use of technology.
Members of the managing committee including MoS for Culture Shri Surendra Patwa, university vice chancellor Shri Kuthiayala, MP Shri Alok Sanjar, MLAs Shri Rameshwar Sharma and Shri Vishwas Sarang, Mayor Shri Alok Sharma, Municipal Corporation Chairman Shri Surjeet Singh Chouhan, Shri Vijesh Lunawat and Principal Secretary Culture Shri Manoj Shrivastava and senior officers of concerning departments were also present.
