Special package for development of Madhya Pradesh

Mandla: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the State Government has chalked out a special package for development of tribal areas in Madhya Pradesh. Shri Chouhan was addressing a public meeting after launching Jan-Darshan programme and Sardar Vallabh Bhai Free Medicine Distribution Scheme at Mandla hospital today.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that Panchayats of Badhai (carpenters), Lohar (blacksmiths), Sunar (goldsmiths) etc. will be held at Chief Minister’s residence soon. He said that Naujawan Panchayat will be held on Vivekananda Jayanti on January 12.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that the State Government is committed to make Madhya Pradesh a golden state. He called for cooperation of all the sections of society in this mega work. Shri Chouhan also administered an oath to function’s participants to contribute in development of their village and city.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan focused on Beti Bachao Abhiyan at the public meeting. He urged people to come forward to avail benefits of women’s empowerment schems being implemented in the state. Shri Chouhan threw light in detail on the need to make Maryada Abhiyan and Beti Bachao Abhiyan successful.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan gave information about ambitious skill development programme, efforts to make 50 percent jobs available to local people in industries and providing loans at zero percent to fishermen. He also threw light on Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Free Medicine Distribution Scheme.
Earlier, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan laid foundation stone and inaugurated local development works costing Rs. 23 crore. Shri Chouhan also made a number announcements for development and construction works in Mandla district.
