Hail storm and heavy rainfall lashes state
The weather has changed in Madhya Pradesh since two days. There was heavy rain with thunder and lightning in Bhopal on Monday evening.
Several districts including Ujjain, Mandsaur, Ratlam, Rajgarh, Vidisha and Chhindwara received hailstorm along with rain. Heavy hailstorm occurred in Malhargarh, Piplia Mandi, Botal Ganj, Sitamau areas including Mandsaur city. In Piplia Mandi and Malhargarh, there was a sheet of hail on the highway. Due to the hailstorm, standing crops in the fields have suffered damage.
According to meteorologists, the weather will remain like this till March 9. Only after this there will be a change in the weather and there will be intense heat. There are chances of rain in 20 districts of the state. These include Bhopal, Raisen, Khandwa, Khargone, Barwani, Burhanpur, Jabalpur, Narsinghpur, Katni, Narmadapuram, Betul, Harda, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Guna, Ashoknagar Datia, Sheopur, Morena and Bhind districts. The wind speed will be 18 km per hour. At the same time, there will be a drop in day and night temperatures.
