Aamir Khan said – Will like ‘Missing Ladies’ made in MP

Actors Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao, Ravi Kishan, Sparsh Srivastava, Nitanshi Goyal, Pratibha and other actors attended the first premiere of the film ‘Laapta Ladies’ in Bhopal. The first premiere of the film has been organized at Cinepolis located in DB Mall.

On this occasion, Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and other artists danced. While addressing the audience, Aamir Khan said that this film has been made with a lot of hard work. Kiran ji and his team have worked hard. We hope you will like it. It is made in MP Bhopal. It will be famous all over the world.

People of Damkhedi, Sehore have also participated in the premiere of ‘Missing Ladies’, produced by Aamir Khan and directed by Kiran Rao. Many scenes of the film have also been shot in the villages of Sehore and Narmadapuram.

Actors Aamir Khan, Kiran Rao and other actors arrived at the premiere of the film ‘Lapata Ladies’ at DB Mall.

Kiran Rao reached Bhopal by plane at around 10.30 am, while Aamir Khan arrived by chartered plane at around 1.30 am. From Bhopal, Kiran went to Bamulia village of Sehore with her entire team. The villagers welcomed him warmly. Samarth Mahor of Sehore will be seen in a special role in this film.

Kiran Rao said, ‘There is a lot of suspense in the story of the film Lapata Ladies.’ On the question of leaving the metropolis to promote the film in rural areas, Kiran said that she has fallen in love with this place. We spent a month here, shooting at different locations. Deepak’s character in the movie has his house here. In such a situation, we became good friends with the people living here, so we thought of coming here and promoting it.

The film’s screenplay is based on the award-winning story by Biplab Goswami. The story of ‘Missing Ladies’ revolves around two brides who accidentally turn into a train.

A boy named Deepak Kumar (Sparsh Srivastava) gets married and brings his wife (Nitanshi Goyal) to the village. His wife gets lost in the train. He takes someone else’s bride home with him by mistake. When he reaches home and lifts the veil, he realizes that his wife has changed. He gets upset. He goes to the police station and lodges a complaint in front of the police inspector (Ravi Kishan).

Got standing ovation at Toronto International Film Festival

‘Missing Ladies’ is scheduled to be screened at the Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) in 2023. The film received a standing ovation. Apart from Nitanshi Goyal and Sparsh Srivastava, Pratibha Ranta, Chhaya Kadam and Ravi Kishan have important roles in the film.
