People should get benefits as per government’s intention in Jan-seva Abhiyan: CM Chouhan

There will be no shortage of funds for development works. Chief Minister blesses 151 newly-weds at Banauli in Panna district

Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan gave his blessings and extended best wishes for a happy life ahead to 151 newly-weds at the Mass Kanya- Vivah Sammelan at Banauli in Panna district. Chief Minister  Chouhan was addressing the Kanya Vivah Sammelan under Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojana at Maa Kankali temple premises at Banauli village in Panna district on Monday.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that after marriage there are two bodies, but soul is one. He  said that daughters should be happy. They are being given cheques of Rs 49,000 as a gift, with which she can purchase items for her family as per her need. Mukhya mantri Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojana has ended the worry of people from poor families for their daughters’ marriage. Chief Minister  Chouhan and Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister Shri Narendra Singh Tomar performed kanya pujan.

Talking about the Jan-seva Abhiyan, Chief Minister  Chouhan called upon the general public to participate in the campaign. He said that all of you should take advantage of the 68 services of various departments being provided in the campaign. He told the Divisional Commissioner that the public is God. It should be ensured that benefits are provided to the people according to the intention of the government. All work related to filing, dismissal, name transfer, property distribution, caste certificate, income certificate, electricity connection, building permission, tap connection etc. should be completed.

Chief Minister  Chouhan said that there will be no delay in completing the ongoing development works in Powai assembly constituency. The development work that is required will be approved and completed on priority.

Union Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare Minister  Tomar said that he is overwhelmed by coming here. The Chief Minister initiated Ladli Laxmi Yojana for daughters, in which lakhs of daughters have become millionaires. Mukhya mantri Kanya Vivah-Nikah Yojana which is going on in the state, has been adopted by other state governments of the country. When Chief Minister  Chouhan became the Chief Minister, saving the girl child in M.P. was a challenge, female foeticide were the order of the day, but the Chief Minister worked on the principle of Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao and formulated the Ladli Lakshmi scheme. He made arrangements for the upbringing and education of daughters. He blessed, congratulated and wished the bride and groom.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan visited Maa Kankali Devi in ​​ Banauli village and wished for happiness and prosperity of the state. He met the villagers in the temple premises and listened to their problems.
