CBI Court Allows Narco-Analysis in Harda Disappearance Case
Bhopal — A CBI court on Monday allowed the investigating agency to conduct narco-analysis tests on four persons in connection with the disappearance of a youth – Durgesh Jat – from the Harda district of the state last year.
Jat had gone missing in March 2008.
CBI Special Judge Shubhra Singh allowed CBI to conduct narco analysis test on Sudeep Patel (24), Dipak Saran (21), Arun Laxminarayan Jat (19) and Amit Patel (26).
Sudeep Patel is son of former state minister and BJP MLA, Kamal Patel.
The Jabalpur bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court had handed over the case to the central agency on a habeas corpus by Jat’s father who had demanded a fair probe into the disappearance.
A criminal case was registered against Sudeep and three others in October last year.
