Fernandes Safe, under Treatment: Wife

A day after media houses carried reports suggesting that former Defence Minister George Fernandes had gone missing, his wife Leila Kabir in a statement issued Sunday said the senior politician is fine and undergoing treatment in New Delhi.

According to reports – the senior politician, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, is being treated by Dr. JD Mukherjee at the Max Super Speciality Hospital, where he has been undergoing treatment since Jan. 8.
