New technology to open new horizons of knowledge: MP CM Chouhan

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan inaugurated Virtual Reality Lab at Pt. Lajjashankar Jha Excellent Higher Secondary School Jabalpur on Republic Day. While interacting with the children, he said that Virtual Reality Lab is very important from the point of view of knowledge. The new technology will expand new horizons of knowledge for the young generation. Along with this, students will get an opportunity to know and understand different areas of study closely.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government will prepare a framework to increase the number of such state-of-the-art labs in the state. He praised Madhya Pradesh’s first virtual lab set up by three youths of Jabalpur through their startup.

The children of the school welcomed Chief Minister Chouhan with applause at the inauguration of the lab.

CM’s replies to children’s queries

Chief Minister Chouhan urged the children to ask questions. Om Shri Patel, a class 11th student of Model School, questioned whether the number of students can be increased in the Super 100 scheme being run by the state government for free preparation of competitive exams,. In response to this question, Chief Minister Chouhan said that it has been rightly pointed out as to why the number of students remained less.

He said that this scheme will be made Super 500 from the coming session. Another question was asked by Sushmita Chaturvedi, a student of the school. She asked the Chief Minister that how did the idea of​​implementing the state government’s schemes run for the benefit of women and girls, including Ladli Laxmi Yojana, Mukhya Mantri Kanyadan Yojana and Medhavi Vidyarthi Yojana, etc. came to his mind. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan became emotional while answering this question.

He thanked student Sushmita for asking this question and said that when he was young, he was very peeved with sex discrimination in the society, but he could not do anything at that time. Later in 1990, when he got elected as MLA for the first time, he got the marriage of girls from poor families conducted. After becoming an MP, this continued on a larger scale.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that when he became the Chief Minister for the first time, he prepared the draft of Ladli Laxmi Yojana and implemented it. The Chief Minister said that after this the Chief Minister Kanyadan Yojana launched, so that the daughters are not considered a burden for the family and the society’s attitude towards the girl child changes.

He told that after this a scheme was made for free education of girl child, which was first implemented at the school and college level, but now the state government is also supporting the scheme for professional degree studies.

The makers of the virtual reality lab are youth of Jabalpur city including Nikhil Bhatnagar, Lalit Burman and Mayank Srivastava. These three have started a startup called Spark VR Technology and have created the Spark VR app. From this lab, children will learn to come out the world of books and study various subjects virtually.
