Land allotment procedure in IT Park amended
Bhopal: State government has amended procedure to allot government land in Information Technology Park of Information Technology Department to companies/units willing to invest in IT Sector.
As per the amendment, if a case is worthy of consideration at committee-level the Electronics Development Corporation will seek formal approval from concerning company within 30 days informing it about possible decision. Extension of letter of intent duration will be done without interest for maximum one month. If this period expires and the company demands further extension, then it can be done by recovering additional amount for delayed period at the rate of one percent per month. If the company does not agree with proposal of letter of intent then the corporation will ensure necessary action and intimate the committee about it.
Development charge will be payable by company/unit only once after land allotment. Land allotment order will be issued to company/unit only after full payment of premium amount by it and possession of land will be given to it as per rules. Lease deed will be executed only after deposit of disposal fee. Development will have to be paid in maximum 2 instalments within one year from the date of taking advance possession. Maintenance charge will be applicable only after infrastructure development. Lease rent and maintenance charge will be payable annually. Lease rent and maintenance charge and use will be prescribed by Madhya Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation authorised by Information Technology Department. Lease rent will be prescribed according to Madhya Pradesh Information Technology Investment Policy-2012 and amendments thereto from time to time. These 3 fees will be mentioned in the lease deed.
