Mukhyamantri Matsya Vikas Puraskar Yojna for encouraging fish breeding

BHOPAL (MPINFO): The State Government has started Mukhyamantri Matsya Vikas Puraskar Yojna for the officers implementing the departmental schemes and programmes in the best way.

Three each Districts Collectors and CEOs of Zila Panchayats achieving best results of fisheries-related schemes will be given prizes. The Fisheries Department has chalked out a scheme for honouring the Collectors of three selected districts and CEOs during the next Collectors’ Conference. Departmental officers and employees of the districts selected for prize will also be honoured at Machhua Diwas Samaroh on July 10.

The District Collectors and CEOs should submit their applications for the prizes in the prescribed proforma to Director Fisheries. The Fisheries Department will include the applications in the proposal for prizes and put up the same before the Member-Secretary of the selection committee. The Member-Secretary will put up the proposal before the selection committee, which will be headed by Principal Secretary Fisheries while Joint Director Fisheries will be its Nodal Officer.

The committee will select collectors of three districts on the basis of best achievements in all the prescribed issues. Similarly, CEOs of Zila Panchayats of three districts will also be selected. Departmental officers and employees of the districts selected for prizes will also be entitled to prizes. Mementoes and citations will also be given to the collectors and CEOs selected for the prizes.

State Government for developing fish trade in the state have introduced several schemes. Implementation on these schemes and programmes is undertaken by the officers and employees posted at district, tahsil and development block levels on the instructions of District Collectors and Zila Panchayat CEOs.
