CM Chouhan said installations of late Chief Ministers in mantralaya premises

Chief Minister  Shivraj Singh Chouhan said in a meeting regarding the installation of statues of the late Chief Ministers of the state in the Mantralaya premises and their unveiling ceremony that relatives and acquaintances of all the late Chief Ministers of the state should necessarily be included in the event. Invitations should be sent to all the parties for the programme.

All MLAs and former MLAs should also be invited. All the Chief Ministers have contributed in the development of the state. The historical decisions taken and works undertaken by them for development and public welfare must be mentioned. This state-level programme giving the message of goodwill should be celebrated with full glory alongwith everyone. Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises Minister Omprakash Saklecha, Additional Chief Secretary (General Administration)  Vinod Kumar, Additional Chief Secretary (Home) Dr. Rajesh Rajoura and officers were present.

The Chief Minister said that consent must be taken from the relatives of the former chief ministers in connection with the statues to be installed. Relatives will also be involved in the unveiling programme. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan handed over the responsibility of coordinating and inviting the families of all concerned Chief Ministers to Minister Shri Omprakash Saklecha. The programme will be held in the first week of July.

Statues of 14 late former Chief Minister will be installed in Mantralaya premises. These will include Late Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla, Late Bhagwantrao Mandloi, Late  Kailashnath Katju, Late  Dwarika Prasad Mishra, Late  Govind Narayan Singh, Late Raja Naresh Chandra Singh, Late.  Shyamacharan Shukla, Late  Prakash Chandra Sethi, Late  Kailash Chandra Joshi, LateVirendra Kumar Saklecha, Late  Sunderlal Patwa, Late.  Arjun Singh .Late  Motilal Vora and Late  Babulal Gaur.
