Madhya Pradesh to cooperate in rebuilding of Uttarakhand : CM

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan called on Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Vijay Bahuguna at Dehradun today and expressed desire to cooperate in rebuilding of the devastated state. Thanking Shri Chouhan, Shri Bahuguna accepted the offer.
Shri Chouhan said that Uttarakhand’s calamity is that of entire country. All states should join hands in rebuilding of the land of deities. In the context, he said that Uttarakhand rebuilding mission will be started after conclusion of rescue operations in Uttarakhand. Madhya Pradesh government is keen to take responsibility to rebuild any one village identified by Uttarakhand government.
Shri Chouhan thanked Uttarakhand government for extending cooperation in rescuing pilgrims from Madhya Pradesh. Uttarakhand Chief Minister Shri Vijay Bahuguna expressed gratitude to Shri Chouhan for immediate cooperation in relief and rescue operations. He informed Shri Chouhan that state governments are being authorised to finalise list of the deceased. Relief amount will be given to families of those deceased whose names will be sent by state governments. He said that there will be no discrimination in disbursal of relief amounts.
Religious Trusts & Endowment and Culture Minister Shri Laxmikant Sharma and Chief Secretary Shri R. Parasuram were also present on the occasion.
CM to come with pilgrims by Boeing plane tomorrow: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan will come to Raja Bhoj airport tomorrow travelling in the plane carrying state’s rescued pilgrims from Uttarakhand in forenoon.
