Madhya Pradesh Bans Meat, Egg Sale In The Open Under Food Safety Rules

Mohan Yadav was sworn in as the new Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh at Bhopal’s Motilal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday.

He was administered the oath of office and secrecy by Governor Mangubhai C Patel, after which the two Deputy Chief Ministers Jagdish Dewda and Rajendra Shukla also took oath in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP national president JP Nadda and Chief Ministers of 11 other BJP and NDA-ruled states.

Yadav, who comes from a strong RSS background, also banned the sale of meat and eggs in the open, detailing about the decisions taken at his first state cabinet meeting.

“It has also been decided to act against sale of meat and eggs in the open in accordance with the existing food safety rules related guidelines. The action will happen after proper public awareness measures,” Yadav said.

The Madhya Pradesh government will welcome those going to Ayodhya along the path to the temple of Lord Ram. The government also decided that tendu leaf pluckers will get ₹ 4,000 per bag.

The cabinet also decided to implement the Cyber Tehsil Scheme in all 55 districts of the state from January 1 to facilitate ‘Namantaran’ (transfer of property title) through a single-window facility.

A campaign will be undertaken by the food department, police and local urban bodies to implement the ban on the sale of meat and fish in the open from December 15 to 31, Mr Yadav said.

Dr. Mohan Yadav was seen in action as soon as he took oath as the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh. He took charge after offering prayers in the CM room of the ministry on Wednesday evening. He took many important decisions in the very first cabinet meeting. In which the proposals regarding strictness on meat and egg shops running in the open and curbing loud speakers playing loudly against the rules were approved.

BJP’s most senior and nine-time MLA Gopal Bhargava will become the protem speaker. Governor Mangubhai Patel will administer him the oath at Raj Bhavan on Thursday at 11 am. Later, a special session of the Assembly will be called and the pro-tem speaker will administer the oath to the MLAs. During this time, new Speaker Narendra Singh Tomar will also be sworn in.

Earlier, after taking oath on Wednesday, Dr. Mohan Yadav directly reached Ujjain, where he took the blessings of Lord Mahakal. Before taking oath as Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav at Khatlapura Hanuman Temple, Bhopal. Here he visited Lord Hanuman and took blessings. After this he reached the state BJP office. There he garlanded the statues of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay and Shyama Prasad Mukherjee. State BJP President VD Sharma was also with him.

Before taking oath, CM Dr. Mohan Yadav visited and worshiped at Hanuman temple in Khatlapura, Bhopal.

Took oath as CM in stable ascendant auspicious Choghadiya

Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday at 11:30 am in the stable ascendant and auspicious Choghadiya. The swearing-in ceremony at Motilal Nehru Stadium in Bhopal lasted only 10 minutes. Jagdish Deora and Rajendra Shukla took oath as Deputy CMs. Governor Mangubhai Patel administered the oath to everyone.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, BJP National President JP Nadda and Chief Ministers of 11 states attended the event.

PM Modi was also present during the oath of Dr. Mohan Yadav as CM. Along with Mohan Yadav, the Governor also administered the oath to Deputy CMs Jagdish Deora and Rajendra Shukla.

Newly appointed Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav and Governor Mangubhai Patel were standing next to the Prime Minister on the stage, when PM Modi requested the Governor to sit on the middle chair. Then he held the hand of Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and showed him the chair on the left. The Governor stood in the middle and the Chief Minister stood on his left while the Prime Minister stood on his right.

 

On the swearing-in stage, PM Modi held the hand of Dr. Mohan Yadav and pointed towards the chair. After which Mohan Yadav reached the chair next to the Governor.

The meeting with Modi lasted for an hour at Raj Bhavan.

After the swearing-in ceremony at Motilal Nehru Stadium, Prime Minister Narendra Modi reached Raj Bhavan along with Governor Mangu Bhai Patel and Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav. The meeting took place here for about an hour. After this the Prime Minister left for the State Hangar from Raj Bhavan at 1:40 pm.

 

After the oath, went to Ujjain and had Mahakal darshan.

After taking oath as Chief Minister, Dr. Mohan Yadav reached Ujjain on Wednesday itself. Here he worshiped at Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple. The Chief Minister said, ‘After taking the oath, I have come to the court of Baba Mahakal. I have got a new responsibility, I have come to seek blessings of Baba Mahakal. The double engine government under the leadership of Modi ji will make further progress in MP.

On the arrival of the new CM at Mahakaleshwar temple, the sanctum sanctorum and Nandi hall were decorated with 5 quintals of flowers. For the first time, a red carpet was laid from Maan Sarovar to Nagara Gate for a Chief Minister.
