Chandrayaan-3 LIVE: After India’s lunar mission made history with a successful soft landing on the moon on Wednesday, August 23, rover Pragyan rolled out of lander Vikram and onto the lunar surface. The two robots sent to the moon are hard at work as the lunar day begins. Vikram and Pragyan are on a mission to study the surface of the moon to check its chemical composition. It will examine the lunar soil and rocks, measure ions and electrons density, and also thermal properties of the lunar surface in the south pole region.
