IPL Satta Bust in Indore

Bhopal  —  In the latest crackdown on sports bookies in the state, Indore Police late on Monday arrested four people for allegedly taking bets on the ongoing season three of the Indian Premier League (IPL), said reports citing the police on Tuesday.

According to PTI, the four have been identified as Rajesh Dubey, Pawan Awasthi, Kamal Swami and Saurabh Lodhi.

Acting on a tip-off, the police team apprehended the accused from a house in the aerodrome area.

Apart from Rs 10,000 in cash, details of transactions worth lakhs of rupees, betting slips, a TV set, 17 mobile phones were seized from the accused.

A case has been registered and investigations are underway.
