Immense possibilities for cooperation in tourism and industries between China and MP
Bhopal. A Chinese delegation led by Chinese Ambassador Shri Le Yucheng met Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan here today. Shri Chouhan said that he would be happy if Chinese delegation becomes partnering country in Global Investors Summit 2016. He said that Madhya Pradesh an ideal destination for investment. Shri Yucheng said that a delegation of Chinese investors registered in India will take part in Global Investors Summit-2016.
The Chief Minister said that the state has investment-friendly schemes, land bank of 25 thousand hectare government, industrial atmosphere and basic infrastructure, which are the main attractions. Besides, the state has also unique tourist destinations. He said that civilizations of both countries are ancient. Referring to progress of Madhya Pradesh during last 10 years, he said that inclusive growth has been foundation of development in the state. Effective measures have been taken to ensure that poor persons also get benefit of economy. State’s growth rate is in double digit consecutively for last 7 years. Agriculture growth rate is above 20 percent for last 4 years. He said that Chinese concepts of Province-to-Province and Sister City will be welcomed in the state.
Chinese Ambassador Shri Yucheng said that he is very much impressed by Madhya Pradesh’s cultural heritages, basic development and atmosphere. There are immense possibilities of cooperation between Madhya Pradesh and China in tourism and industries sectors. Maximum efforts would be made to ensure that large number of Chinese investors and tourists visit Madhya Pradesh. Impressed by discussions with the Chief Minister, he said that now he would work for Madhya Pradesh. He described Madhya Pradesh as heartland of India culturally, historically, politically, economically and geographically. Informing about China’s economic progress and future relations, he said that Chinese economy is moving from quantity to quality. Economy is in neo normal state. Referring to similarity between Madhya Pradesh state and cities with Chinese civilization, he threw light on concepts of Province-to-Province and Sister City.
