Ranchi: Ranchi Deputy Commissioner Vinay Kumar Choubey has asked a state official to find out whether there was any election model code violation by Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley during his visit on Tuesday.
The Deputy Commissioner told the media that a magistrate was asked to give the report by 11 am on Wednesday whether the minister travelled by beacon-fitted car to the venue where the BJP organised a programme.
Jaitley was here in connection with the release of manifesto of BJP ahead of the five-phase Jharkhand assembly elections beginning November 25.
