Give Serious Note to Public Grievances Redressal

Bhopal. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that public grievances should be redressed with the utmost seriousness. In case of receipt of any kind of irregularities, a strict action will be taken against the irresponsible government servants. He was deliberating with the officers in the programme Samadhan online, today. CM Shri Chouhan gave instructions as regard to the suspension of the present District Collector of Katni Shri Prakash Jangre, 3 Deputy Director of the agriculture department posted at Seoni district since 2010 namely Shri K.S. Tekamm Shri S.K.Dhurve and Shri P.D.Sarathe for not giving serious note to the public grievances. Also, in the series, the Municipal Commissioner of Ratlam Shri Somnath Jharia has been transferred with immediate effect.

The Minister for Panchayat and Gramin Vikas Shri Gopal Bhargava, Minister for Forest Dr. Gaurishankar Shejwar, Public Health and Family Wealfare Minister Shri Rustam Singh,Minister for Animal husbandry Shri Antar Singh Arya, Minister for School Education Shri Kunwar Vijay Shah,Minister for Revenue Shri Umashankar Gupta, Minister of state for technical Education and skill development Shri Deepak Joshi, Minister of state for co-operative Shri Vishwas Sarang and Chief Secretary Shri Antony D’sa and Principal Secretaries of the concerned departments were present on the occasion.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan reviewed the redressal of the complaints received in samadhan online and enquired about the efforts made for the redressal of the grievances. He further mentioned that he is unhappy with the present position of redressal system and effective measures should be adopted in the cases. If there is any need to change the system, steps should be taken to correct the same. He also showed unhappiness towards the delay in pension distribution under the social security scheme and delay of wages under the MGNREGA . He said that the arrangements of advance technology, FTO direct bank transfer are for the help of the poor, if it is proving obstacle to provide the rights to the poor, efforts should be made to change them. Shri Chouhan directed the officers to studies the new initiatives undertaken in Shahdol for pension distribution.

Shri Chouhan said that corruption will not be tolerated at any cost and officers should take strict action in such cases. Criminal cases should be filed against the culprits. The officers of the concerned departments will be held responsible if no action is taken at the district level. He also advised the officers to do continuous inspection and use their rights for the benefit of the people. Shri Chouhan also directed the officers to monitor the seasonal diseases and arrangements of drinking water.

The CM Shri Chouhan emphasized to bring the transparency in the administrative arrangements. He instructs the officers to hold regular direct dialogues, besides gave instruction as regard to distribution of the benefits among the beneficiaries of various schemes. Shri Chouhan mentioned to ensure participation of Minister Incharge, MP, MLA in the programmes. He said clearly to the DG Police and superintendent of Police to move the incapable officers from the field who are not capable of restoring Law and Order. 13 grievances of the applicants of verious districts were redressed during samadhan online.
