MP will be no 1 state: CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that the state government wants ‘collective efforts, inclusive growth’. He said Madhya Pradesh will be made number one state in the country by better implementation of schemes. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was addressing Antoday Mela in village Navara of Khaknar block, Burhanpur district. He distributed different items and benefits worth Rs 8.75 crore to 5000 beneficiaries under different schemes.

Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that one lakh youths will be provided loan without guarantee every year for providing more and more job opportunities. He said that Madhya Pradesh is in better condition as compared to other states in electricity, road and drinking water availability. Shri Chouhan said that land rights (patta) will be given to rural people for house construction.  He said a new bridge will be constructed on Tapti river near Dariyapur. Rs five crore will be provided for road construction in Nepanagar.  Two 50-seater hostels will constructed in Khaknar block headquarters each for scheduled tribe and scheduled caste students. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan handed over LPG connection to five beneficiaries under Ujjawala Yojana as taken.

In the programme, 531 LPG connections, items worth Rs 1.05 crore to 714 beneficiaries, social security pension to 113 pensioners, tractors to 527 beneficiaries under agriculture and horticulture departments schemes, fund for tissue culture and drip irrigation were given away to people.

Shri Chouhan dedicated a pre-metric hostel and government high school building in Mandwa.
