Food processing unit to be set up at Ratlam: CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that maximum development works will be undertaken in the state overcoming hurdles. He said that injustice with any section of society will not be allowed. The Chief Minister was addressing Antyodaya Mela at Namli in Ratlam district today. Shri Chouhan announced sanction of Rs. 38 crore to set up horticulture hub at Ratlam. In Antyodaya Mela, sanction letters were also distributed to 29 thousand beneficiaries of various schemes. Minister in-charge of Ratlam district Shri Paras Jain, Panchayats & Rural Development Minister Shri Gopal Bhargava, MLAs Shri Chetanya Kashyap, Rajendra Pandey, Smt. Sangeeta Charel and Shri Jitendra Gehlot were also present.

The Chief Minister said that the state government is committed to providing food, clothes and house to every person in the state. He said that the state government is going to formulate a law to put into practice Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s resolve to make available house to every person by year 2022. No domicile of the state will be without own house following implementation of this law. He said that if needed, plots will be made available for this and every possible assistance extended to construct house. He urged youths to become self-reliat. He informed that this year, 50 thousand youths will be benefited. The next year, one lakh youths will be provided economic assistance to set up self-employment.

Food processing unit

The Chief Minister said that the district has adequate potential for production of flowers, fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants. Necessary arrangements will be made for marketing and branding of district’s products. A food processing unit will be set up at Ratlam. The Chief Minister announced to open high school at village Dantodiya, higher secondary school at village Palsoda and new college at Namli. No hurdle will be allowed in children’s education in the state. A high school will be opened on every 5 kilomteres. The Chief Minister said that smart phones will be provided to students securing in first division in class XII.

The Chief Minister dedicated 10 construction works costing over Rs. 9 crore. He performed Bhumi Poojan of 20 development works costing over Rs. 86 crore. The Chief Minister sanctioned Rs. 62 crore 15 lakh for construction of 72.5 km long roads connecting villages. He sanctioned Rs.26 crore 30 lakh Gunawad group water scheme, Rs. 26 crore for ring road and Rs. 12 crore for construction of houses. The Chief Minister announced Rs. 5 crore each for development works to Namli, Dhamnod and Piploda Nagar Parishads. Shri Chouhan directed collector to ensure education and upbringing of 2 orphan children who came to meet him. MP Shri Nand Kumar Singh Chouhan also spoke on the occasion.
