Warrant against Musharraf in Bugti Murder case

Islamabad. A Pakistani court on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for former military dictator Pervez Musharraf, former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former Balochistan chief minister Jam Yousuf, former interior minister Aftab Khan Sherpao, ex Balochistan home minister Shoib Nosherwani and Abdul Samad Lasi, in Nawab Akbar Khan Bugti murder case.
The Balochistan court had previously issued arrest warrants for the Ex-president and the prime minister but the provincial and federal authorities remained failed to implement the court orders.
Bugti was killed on August 26 in 2006 during an operation in Musharraf’s regime and this murder broke fire across the province and extreme nationalist started demanding of separation from Pakistan after this incident.
All of them were named as suspects in an FIR registered by police regarding the killing of Bugti in a military operation ordered by Musharraf.
The former president has been living in self-exile in London and Dubai since early 2009.
The court subsequently adjourned the case till July 18.
