Effective efforts underway for security and honour of women and girls

Bhopal: Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that effective measures are being ensured in the state to safeguard honour of girls and women. He said that strict action will be taken against perpetrators of crimes against women. Stringent punishment will be given to the culprit within a short span of time. It is the responsibility of all to safeguard girls. For this, mindset has to be changed. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan was speaking at Jan-Darshan, Beti Bachao and Nari Samman Raksha convention at Pipariya today.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan announced that capacity of community health centre at Pipariya will be increased to 100 beds. He announced construction of new building of Matkuli health centre and old Girls School in Pipariya town. He also directed to select a site for the building of Girls College. Shri Chouhan announced Rs. 5 crore for the development of Pipariya town. The Chief Minister also gave in-principle sanction to making Vankheri a Nagar Panchayat. He also announced opening of a college at Vankheri. Meanwhile, the Chief Minister symbolically inaugurated 18 construction works costing about Rs. 9 crore 78 lakh 56 thousand. He also laid foundation stone for 20 works costing Rs. 17 crore 65 lakh 78 thousand. Forest Minister Shri Sartaj Singh was also present on the occasion.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh’s Chief Minister is available to common people always and everywhere. Referring to novel efforts made for Madhya Pradesh’s development by the State Government, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan said that Madhya Pradesh is ahead of other state in many areas and some programmes. It is the only state where remarkable schemes have been introduced for all sections of society including farmers, youths, women, senior citizens and students.
Banks will extend loans under the Mukhyamantri Yuva Swarozgar Yojna to youths for starting industries. The loan guarantee to banks will be given by the State Government. The scheme will come into effect from April 1, 2013. The Chief Minister said that there will be no problem of fees in vocational courses since the State Government will give loan guarantee.
Chief Minister Shri Chouhan informed that every village in Hoshangabad district will start getting 24-hour power supply from May. Chief Minister Shri Chouhan honoured the activists who have put in significant contribution to Beti Bachao Abhiyan in Hoshangabad district.
Local MLA, other public representatives and a large number of citizens were present on the occasion.
