Shahdol To Have Best University of Madhya Pradesh

Bhopal. The Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that best University of Madhya Pradesh will be made in Shahdol Division. High level laboratory, library, stadium and sports facilities will be developed in the university. CM Shri Chouhan said this while distributing smart phone to the students in Shahdol, today. He also gave lap top to the girl student Kajal Soni and Ankit Verma who secured positions in the merit list of class 12.

Shri Chouhan said that fees of the talented children will be borne by the state government. He laid foundation stone of Engineering College being built with a cost of Rs. 34 crore in Chhatwai gram panchayat of Suhagpur block of Shahdol district. He further mentioned that now many students of this tribal belt will get a chance for higher studies.

CM Shri Chouhan visits many villages under Jan Darshan

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan visited many villages of Shahdol district under the Jan Darshan programme, today. While listening to the grievances of the villagers, Shri Chouhan advised villagers to plant trees in the agriculture field and construction of toilet at home. He said that now pension will be distributed in gram pancahyat bhavan among the beneficiaries on 10th of every month. He directed the officials to pay a sum of Rs. 1 lakh as an economic assistance to the tribal woman Pratima Baiga whose son died young. On the occasion, villagers apprised Shri Chouhan about electricity and other problems. He directed the Commissioner and the District Collector to coordinate as regard to remaining wages under MGNRGA.

Shri Chouhan reviewed the progress of the government schemes implemented in Shahdol during the meeting with the officers. He instructed the officials to conduct a special drive regarding permanent lease to the villagers who are in possession of government land since long. He also visited other villages around Gram Khatoli. He directed the officials to hold public grievances redressal camp on August 7 at Khatoli.

Dedication of Gohparu Tahsil Bhavan

The Chief Minister Shri Chouhan dedicated the new constructed building of tahsil bhavan in Gohparu today. He also advised the officials to perform their duties with utmost dedication. The programme was also addressed by Minister for Higher Education Shri Jaibhan Singh Pawaiyya, Minister Incharge Shri Rajendra Shukla, Minister for School Education Kunwar Vijay Shah. The chairperson SC-ST Commission Shri Narendra Maravi, MLA Smt. Pramila Singh and former Minister and MLA Shri Jaisingh Maravi were present on the occasion.
