Assistance to ex-servicemen and widows of World War II

BHOPAL: In a move to facilitate the ex-serviceman and widows of World War II, the government on Monday provides an assistance of worth Rs. 48 thousand at a function held at Zila Sainik Kalyan Board.

About 24 ex-servicemen and widows of World War II will be benefitted by the scheme. Provisions are also made for purchase of modified scooters for ex-servicemen.

The interested ex-servicemen can contact District Ex-Servicemen’s Welfare Board for the purpose. For pension assistance for ex-servicemen and widows of Navy a pension assistance centre has been established by the government.
