Multiplicity of Joy in Indian Culture and Public Life: CM

Bhopal. Chief Minister Shri Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that Indian Culture and Public Life have multiplicity of joy and emotional attachments to our traditions. Due to blind westernization and modern life, happiness and liveliness have alienated from the life. Shri Chouhan was inaugurating the exhibition oragnised under the three day “Lok Manthan” programme being started from November 12 at Vidhan Sabha campus today. The programme is being organized in cooperation of Culture Department, Pragya Pravah and Bharat Bhavan. Eminent thinkers holding strong faith in “Rashtra Sarvopari” (Nation is Paramount) philosophy are taking part in Lok Manthan programme.

CM Shri Chouhan said that India is a great and ancient country. It has 5 thousand old history. When civilization of India was at peak, there was no existence of many countries. Institutions like Takshshila and Nalanda were in existence here.

Shri Chouhan further said that folk culture of India is knitted from traditions and values of life. This is unique and diversified. He mentioned that the developed countries of the world have progressed but have lost zeal towards life. Adherence to only western thinking and culture is wrong. Shri Chouhan further mentioned that Indian public life is prospering with positivity and liveliness. It believes in present and has its own philosophy of life. Moreover, it has own vision towards life and jubilations. Here death is celebrated too.

CM Shri Chouhan said that the state government will act to take forward the deliberations being undertaken in ‘Lok Manthan’. Principal Secretary Culture Shri Manoj Shrivastava informed about the Concept of Lok Manthan progamme and exhibition.

Speaker Vidha Sabha Shri Sitasaran Sharma, Chief Minister Shri Chouhan and his wife Smt. Sadhana Singh installed a traditional Kalash before the idol of Vagdevi and lit the lamp. They also performed Tulsi Pooja as per the tribal traditional ceremony. MP Shri Alok Sanjar, Sah-Sarkaryawah RSS Shri Dattatray Hosbole and Shri Sadanand Sapre of Pragya Pravah were present on the occasion.

Features of Unique Exhibition

Exhibition being organised at Vidhan Sabha premises under the Lok Manthan programme site is unique in its nature. The exhibition has been prepared as an image of Indian traditions, culture, environment, art and tribal life. This exhibition will remain open for people for three days.

Moreover, this exhibition displays trident of human, nature and Indian traditions. The exhibition site has been divided into eight segments. Center holds Brahma Sthan having blooming lotus in water. Also, pictures beside tribal traditions, arts and culture have been exhibited. Pictures of Sanatan culture have been displayed as we enter the exhibition.

Second segment holds picture focusing words. Importance of words has been displayed. Third segment belongs to foundation where religion, science, culture and other subjects have been explained. Fourth segment is focused on utsav, traditions of zeal in life has been displayed here comprising life journey from birth to death. Moreover in the fifth segment, valor has been notified for protection of life. Sixth segment belongs to immersion, where stories related to origin of Narmada river in picture forms have been displayed in tribal traditional craft.
