Assistance to be provided to hailstorm-affected families

Bhopal: Sc, ST Welfare Minister Shri Gyan Singh interacted with hailstorm-affected families and inspected crops at various villages under Bandhavgarh and Chandiya tahsils in Umaria district today. He directed the collector to ensure immediate survey of loss. Minister Shri Gyan Singh inspected hailstorm-affected crops in villages Akhdar, Belmana, Jogin, Narwar, Ghoghari, Barhi, Majhauli, Beharwah, Kathai, Dhatoora, Lodha, Chandpur etc and consoled affected farmers.

Minister Shri Gyan Singh was informed by district administration that crops of pulses, vegetables, fruits, linseed and mustard have suffered 60 percent to 100 percent loss. Shri Gyan Singh said that survey of the loss due to natural calamity should be done at the earliest and relief amounts should be distributed on priority.
