AAP conducts socio-political survey in Madhya Pradesh

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is conducting socio-political survey in entire 230 assembly seats in Madhya Pradesh gathering minute details ranging from the community level to development works carried in the area.

The focus is on the local issues particularly those related to the development works and basic amenities available to the people in comparison to the announcement made by the government from time to time, the party activists said.

The AAP activists are upbeat over the response the party got in the recently held civic body elections in Madhya Pradesh.

The party showed its presence in the state politics with short span of time, appears to had done electioneering well planned by registered its win on post of Mayor in Singrauli in eastern part of the state.

Also the party is giving focus on tribal areas. Already the party has shortlisted three to four tribals persons who will represent the face of tribals in the party activities in coming months, the party activists said.

The survey is comprehensive in nature as while gathering the information from the people attention is also given on the popularity of a politician in a particular area, the activists said.

Considering the past political scenario of Madhya Pradesh it is seen the Bahujan Samaj Party and Gondwana Gantantra Party has won particular number of seats in past assembly elections by drawing attention of voters towards them.

Considering this perspective and the anti-incumbency factor for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in power in the state for last four assembly terms, the AAP is all set to work in Madhya Pradesh.

The AAP formed government in Punjab while in Gujarat it won 5 assembly seats and showed presence by pulling sizeable percentage of votes.

Presently, AAP is working to have a dedicated cadre in Madhya Pradesh. It has dissolved the old body at the state level as well at district levels. Now screening process is underway of the old cadre by going into the details on how they have coordinated at ground level during their tenure, apart from it their reputation, popularity at local level.

The district level and the state level bodies are expected to be declared soon, the party activists said.
