1084.7 mm rainfall recorded in Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL (PTI): Madhya Pradesh received 1084.7 mm of rainfall in the current monsoon season. It is about 25 per cent above normal.

Yesterday the current spell of rainfall ended in Madhya Pradesh, according to weathermen, there is a possibility that the state may receive some rainfall around September 15.

They said that an upper air cyclonic circulation has developed over north-west Bay of Bengal and adjoining
Orissa coast and this may have some impact in Madhya Pradesh in the coming days.

Bhopal received 1221.1 mm rainfall, which was almost 35 per cent above normal.
