Mahira Khan shamed for smoking with Ranbir Kapoor; Pakistani actor Ali Zafar defends her
Mumbai: Pictures of Bollywood actors – Ranbir Kapoor and Mahira Khan – bonding over a smoke in New York has taken internet by storm. The pictures, which were posted a few hours ago, drew strong reactions from the fans with a few Twitteratti claiming to have spotted a love bite on Mahira’s back.
According to media reports, not just gossipmongers, the picture has also attracted the attention of trolls. A lot of hate posts have been directed at Mahira for smoking and wearing a halter dress. One troll even asked how Mahira could “do this”, being a mother. For the uninitiated, Mahira is a single mother and has a son, Azlaan, who was born in 2014.
However, fans have also come out in support of her, maintaining that it is her life and that she has the freedom to smoke and wear what she wants.
Pakistani actor Ali Zafar has defended Mahira’s decision in an Instagram post, added the report. “Every woman has the right to make her own choices in life (as long as she’s not hurting anyone else) just like we men do,” one part of it read.
