RSS Activist Surrenders for ‘Accidental’ Death

Shyamlal Gurjar, an RSS activist, has surrendered before Bhopal police and admitted that it was an accidental fire from his gun that killed another RSS worker, Naresh Motwani, at a ritual ‘Shastra Puja’ in the state capital on Monday.

The 9mm pistol from which the shot was accidentally fired has been recovered from Gurjar.

On being questioned about the 9mm, a restricted bore in the country, Gurjar reportedly told the police that he had recently found the weapon on the outskirts of the city.

Police are investigating the matter.
