MP News: Big announcements for CM Shivraj’s daughters, government will pay fees, special campaign will run till May 15, benefits will be available in education-employment

Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government is committed for Ladli Laxmi daughters and their fees will be borne by the state government on admission to prestigious educational institutions like Medical, IIT IIM. Not only this, the Chief Minister has announced that a special campaign will be launched in the state from May 9 to 15 in the cities and panchayats for Ladli Lakshmi daughters. CM Shivraj was addressing the state-level Ladli Lakshmi festival focused on equal guidance and dialogue with daughters at the Chief Minister’s residence on Ladli Lakshmi Day. During this, he has made big announcements for the daughters of the state.

Special campaign will run
A big announcement has been made by the Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan for the daughters. Giving the tagline of “Haan Main Bhi Ladli Hoon”, he said that the state government would bear the fees of the daughters of the state for admission in medical institutes like IIT, IIM. Along with this, a special campaign will be launched in the city and panchayat from May 9 to 15.

Sports competitions on May 9, prize distribution to Ladli Laxmi friendly Panchayats on May 10, while programs on law and digital literacy will be organized on May 11. Health check-up on May 12, government office including police station will be visited on May 13. On the other hand, on May 14, a campaign for KYC and a program of visiting regional tourist places has been kept on May 15, including painting competition.

Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started 16 years ago
CM Shivraj said that Ladli Laxmi Yojana is being completed for 16 years. More than 44 lakh 86 thousand Lakhpati Ladli are your family in the state. This is a big achievement for the state. The outlook of the same society has also been changed under this scheme. The daughter is showing her talent in all fields. Son and daughter should be treated equal. With this objective, Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started 16 years back.

improvement in sex ratio
CM Shivraj said that Ladli Laxmi Yojana was started to improve the condition of daughters and to change the outlook of the society. In the series of efforts made for these, many schemes have been started for education of girls and training for self-reliance including new better health etc. Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana was started. Their efforts have seen a positive impact on the state. 956 daughters are being born in the state for 1000 sons, along with this the sex ratio has also improved.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced that all opportunities for the progress of daughters will be made available. Along with this, special efforts will be made for women empowerment. Women’s reservation in panchayat and urban bodies, along with the provision of reservation in recruitment in other departments including police and school education, is an important step in this direction. Along with this, many other steps are also being taken in the interest of women. Dance drama and martial arts for self-defense were demonstrated by Ladli Lakshmi in the state level programme. Along with this, a booklet published on the effective evaluation of the scheme was released.
