Bank employees are taking election training, no one in the branch: 2000 bank employees are on election duty in Bhopal; SLBC wrote letter

About 2 thousand employees of banks of Bhopal have also been put on duty for the assembly elections. Currently they are being trained at 7 centers in the city. Due to them being busy in training, there is a situation of lockout in many bank branches. Information like ‘Work will not be possible in the branch’ has also been pasted in many bank branches. Actually, all the employees of these branches have been put on duty. The State Level Bankers Committee (SLBC) has written a letter to the Election Commission regarding this, because if the entire staff is on duty during voting, then the banks may remain closed for 4 consecutive days.

Those branches which have a staff of 10 to 15 officers and employees,
