Youth Congress workers stop Delhi-Lahore bus in Protest of killing Pakistani soldiers
Amritsar: Protesting against the killing of Army soldiers in Poonch, the Youth Congress members on Friday created ruckus and stopped Delhi-Lahore bus near Amritsar in Punjab.
The bus, which moves with pilot and escort vehicles through its journey from Delhi via Haryana and Punjab to Attari, was stopped for a few minutes before police reinforcements rushed to the spot and dispersed the protestors.
Earlier on Wednesday, at least 200 members of the Youth Congress were detained when they were marching towards the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi to protest against the killings of five Indian soldiers.
