CM Calls for All Efforts to Combat Dengue

Bhopal  —  With a steep rise in the Dengue cases in the state, Chief Minister, Shivraj Singh Chouhan has instructed Health and Local Self Government Department officials to jointly work on the treatment and control the spread of the disease.

At a meeting with department officials in the state capital, Chouhan reviewed the disease situation in the state and called for every possible step to control the outbreak. He stressed the need to heighten awareness regarding the preventive measures to arrest the spread of the disease.

At the meeting, Secretary, Health Sudhi Ranjan Mohanty informed that all arrangements for diagnosis and treatment of the Dengue virus had been made available on priority at all the main hospitals in Bhopal.

The meeting was attended by a battery of top ranking state government officials including Principal Secretary Health Vijaya Shrivastava, Principal Secretary Urban Administration Raghav Chandra, Secretary Public Relations Manoj Shrivastava.
