‘Safai Didis’ meet CM to thank him for honorarium hike
A group of ‘Safai Didis’ from Municipal Council, Balod met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel and Urban Administration Minister Shiv Kumar Daharia during the Jan-Chaupal Bhent-Mulaqat programme at the CM’s residence on Wednesday and expressed gratitude for increasing their honorarium. At a programme organized by Urban Administration Department recently, Chief Minister announced to hike the honorarium of Safai Didis, employed under urban administration bodies, from Rs 5000 to Rs 6000. This has brought major relief to these cleanliness workers.
Chief Minister told them to work with full dedication, and that the government will always stand by them to provide every possible support.
On the occasion, Urban Administration Minister Dr Shivkumar Daharia, Women and Child Development Department Minister Anila Bhediya, Mayor Raipur Municipal Corporation Pramod Dubey were present.
