Mohan Singh Succeeds Amar Singh as SP Fills Vacant Party Posts

Filling the party posts quit by Amar Singh, SP has appointed veteran Lohiaite Mohan Singh as General Secretary and Member of the party’s Parliamentary Board, reported UNI.

In addition, senior leader Brijbhushan Tiwari has been appointed as Vice President of the party. The post lay vacant following demise of veteran party leader Janeshwar Mishra, said report.

Report said that two new general secretaries have also been appointed. They are Ram Asrey Kushwaha and Vishambhar Prasad Nishad.

They replaced Bollywood star-turned politician Sanjay Dutt and Obaidullah Azmi who had also quit from their posts after Singh’s resignation. Joe Antony from Kerala is new Member of the Central Parliamentary Board, said report.
